What Is a Dental Crown?

The Procedure
Most crowns take two visits. First we reshape the tooth, take impressions for the dental lab and place a temporary crown. Each crown is designed to fit comfortably, blend in and work with your bite.
At the second visit, we place the permanent crown, adjust the fit and bond it to the tooth. It looks, feels and works like a natural tooth.
